Borghese Fango active mud for face and body

Since I can remember mud masks have been always been the rave of all masks from celebrities.  When I was younger, I thought it was celebrities youth secrets. That's why it cost so much. The mud mask they used were deep sea mud which cost hundreds of dollars. A side from where the mud was from, the thought that mud mask were the secret to youth stuck in my mind.

When I saw this at Costco, I had the urge to ignore all surroundings to try it. There were multiple muds, but I picked the one made to improve skin tone.

What it does:

Italian Mud - Provides mineral nourishment and special absorbing action which rids skin of impurities.
Acqua di Vita® Complex - Revitalizes skin, reducing the signs of aging.
Natural botanicals that stimulate and improve skin tone.
Avocado and Sweet Almond Oils - Moisturize and soften skin.

How to Use
  • Apply generously (about one quarter inch thick) to clean skin (face, neck and/or body). Avoid lip and eye area.
  • Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Rinse off thoroughly using sponge or washcloth.

Aging is something that happens to everyone, but to sit back and not worry about it is something I can't accomplish yet.

When mud first touches the skin i felt a burning sensation. I thought I was allergic to the mask. I wasn't surprised since this product does contain fragrance. I immediately reached for my lioele seaweed gel. The gel helps calm irritation on skin.  After the mask hardens, the burning sensation was no longer there. It felt like a biore nose strip. It also feels very similar to the lioele pore clean tightening pack.

After mud was washed from my face, my skin felt soft and smooth. First application is too soon to see results for anti-aging and other benefits it claims. I am personally still very interested in mud masks and will probably invest in other mud mask in the future, but for now I hope this one works. With me luck! ^.^
