Sometimes I ask myself why I insist on spending so much money on product at Sephora when what i am looking for is right in front of my eyes. Lioele has two lip treatments and one if for day and the other is for night. My lips has always been very dry due to not drinking enough water during the day. As much of a crazy makeup addict i am, I often forget to apply sunscreen, lotion, lip balm, or anything that my skin needs to stay refresh. However, lately i have been doing better. At least i make it a priority in the morning to put on sunscreen before I walk out the door. At night is when I am able to replenish my skin with heavy rejuvenating mask and lotion. I do mask 5 our of 7 days a week. I exfoliate 3 times a week, and pore treatment once a week. I have to say it has been going quite well. My face has cleared up quite a bit, but i want it to be completely flawless before I show result. I know if I keep up my facial routine up, I will be able to get rid of acne and dry skin for sure.
Getting back to subject. As much as I want to say how proud I am of my night facial routine, I was still unable to find something good for my lips. I bought a lip treatment scrub from Sephora by Korres, which was suppose to exfoliate my lips and get rid of dry skin. Sadly this product did not work for me, and I have to say I was getting more and more frustrated with it each time I use it. That little thing was expensive! There is nothing more frustrating than buying something so expensive and finding out it 's not for you ;( . The idea of an exfoliating lip balm was great. I admit it did exfoliate my lips at first. The more I use it the more I realize the rice grains that exfoliates are less and less. So eventually it became a regular lip balm. Without the little rice grains this product dried out my lips even more. So now i have dry lips and a lip treatment lip balm that doesn't work.
I was doing Inventory one night and saw the Lioele Night Treatment Essence. I haven't done Inventory for so long I forgot we even had this product. Earlier that day I had a phone meeting with the sales manager from Lioele. He told me that Lioele product's lifespan on the market is based on the product's popularity. That means If the product is still available to purchase worldwide there has to be some good quality to them. I remember i was really impressed with there A.C Zero Night Spot treatment, so i decided to give it a try. My skin is the world's most stubborn skin. It's allergic to everything! I am even Allergic to CS palettes. That is why i am so hesitant to try new products. I like to collect them, but it takes me awhile to build up courage to actually use them.
So far I must say I really really really like this product. I am consider in luck if I can find two things in a single brand of makeup that doesn't irritate my skin. I am starting to think Lioele was created just for me. Here is why I like this product.
1) It literally stayed moist on my lips from the time i put it on before i go to sleep to when i wakeup in the morning to brush my teeth.
2) It's NOT STICKY!!!! Getting sticky lip gloss on your long hair got to be one of the most annoying things a girl can experience. I hate it on my hair, and I definitely do not want it on my pillows or sheets.
3) It smells so good! It smells like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I know it's a sweet candy smell.
err if you get this or already have this, help me out okay? It's going to bug me until I figure it out lol.
Overall, I am very happy that i found something for my lips to add to my nightly facial routine. Now I just have to find something for my eyes. ^_^
